SAFETY UNDER CONTROL!

ROTUNDA

- If the primary rotation limit is exceeded, the PBB slows down to 1/3 of its current speed.
- If the secondary rotation limit is exceeded, the PBB stops and an alarm is sounded.
- When a fault is detected in the first and second rotation limits or excessive rotation is detected, the PBB stops, an alarm is sounded and a notification is displayed on screen.

TUNNEL

- If the primary motion limitis exceeded,the PBB slows down to 1/3 of its current speed.
- If the secondary motion limit is exceeded, the PBB stops and an alarm is sounded.
- When a fault is detected in the first and second motion limiter, the PBB stops, an alarm is sounded and a notification is displayed on screen.
- Mechanical Stoppers Limiter prevents the collision of Tunnel B and the Rotunda.
- Mechanical Excessive Motion Limiter prevents the separation of the Tunnels.

CABIN

- Mechanical Brakes prevent impact with aircraft. When an alarm is sounded the mechanical brakes only allow movement in the opposite direction and limits the movement of the cabin.
- When the PBB is 1.5 m from the aircraft the distance tetector reduces the PBB to 1/3 of its current speed.
- Sensors on the Entrance Doors transmit information to notify whether they are open or closed.
- If the rotation limit is exceeded, the PBB stops with an audible alarm and can only be returned to its previous position.
- If a fault is detected to the rotation limit switch, the PBB stops and an alarm is sounded.
- If the Auto-Leveler can not handle the positioning, the Safety Shoe device assists.
- The Safety Shoe device is located between the cabin and the aircrafts door. The Pressure Sensors detect the height of the aircrafts door from the ground. These systems prevent any possible impact to the aircraft.

SLOPE

- The PBB is designed to operate with a slope of 8% for each aircraft it services.
- During manual operation ifthe slope ofthe PBB exceeds 10% an alarm is sounded.

AUTO LEVELER

- The PBB Independently adjusts its position and slope depending on the aircraft type it is about to service.
- Ifr equested the PBB can be controlled remotely.

CANOPY

- Moving floor type with heating to prevent freezing
- Flat without bulges and protrusions.
- Adjusts to the level of the PBB according to aircraft position.
- Water-proof and provides perfect sealing.

CCTV - CAMERA

- Monitoring of the Apron.
- Monitoring of the Tunnel and Cabin.
- Monitoring of the aircraft.

WHEELS

- Primary and secondary rotation limits work simultaneously. If either one of the limits is exceeded, the PBB stops and an alarm is sounded.
- If a faultis detected to any ofthe limit switches, the PBB stops with an audible alarm.
- Mechanical Brakes.
Emergency Back-0ff:
- Allows the PBB to disconnect from the aircraft in case of an emergency.
Emergency Button:
- Movement is suspended due to the disconnection of the power and control circuit
